About Car Lovers

Car Lovers is one of the car washes listed in Roanoke, Virginia. The business is registered at 3504 Electric Rd, Roanoke, VA 24018; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
In Roanoke, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Virginia, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Car Lovers at (866) 293-9107; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, mycarwash001.com.

Roanoke is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Roanoke is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Virginia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This used to be my favorite car wash place in Roanoke. I took a white Tesla there last week and was disappointed. Took my silver Prius there today and won't go back until things improve! The price was $6 for regular car wash. It's now $10. My roof is still gritty and filthy!!! There were spots of crud on my car and there wasn't much water left. Also, no weekend attendant??? Glass cleaner was out. What happened?

Went through the wash and there was still dirt left on my car afterwards because they just spray it with soap and rinse it off with water. The roof was filthy after the wash. No scrubbing involved at all. Also, I had scratches on my car and the paint is now chipped in multiple areas on my car because the water pressure was too high. The vacuum area was nice though but would not come here again since my car did not even get cleaned properly and it damaged my car.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WASH YOUR CAR HERE. I would have given 0 stars if that were an option. I went here to wash my new car and spent $18 on their top service. Not only was there only one bay open when I arrived, there was a car parked by the payment kiosk preventing anyone from getting in. The attendant apparently knew this person and eventually had to ask everyone to back their cars up so this car could move out of the way. I eventually got to the payment kiosk and paid my $18, And then when it was my turn to go, the attendant told me to hold on. He frantically ran around the washbay picking up car mats that I guess were his that he washed during the previous car wash. The machine started spraying water and he told me to pull in as it was going. I pulled in and the machine covered half of my car in soap, and then the air dryer turned on. The attendant came back in and started waving me on as if I should be leaving. I told him that his machine was not working, and as he can clearly see my car is still halfway covered in soap. He then asked me to pull around the building and get in the back of the line after I had already paid for the car wash and was currently sitting in the bay. I to

I paid $12 for a premium wash which lasted no more than 3 minutes, including the drying. Iβm not sure how a single water spray, 1 layer of suds, a wash down and a 10 second dry fits the description of the wash. My car had multiple dirt marks left and was visibly wet and dripping (no surprise give the 10 second dry). The service I received should not have cost more than $5 for what was provided. Very, very sad and disappointing experience. Please service your machines, Iβm sure they can provide a better experience. Iβm giving one extra star for the potential of this place.

I tried this place for the time today. I wasn't that impressed. First off, people are correct when they say on here how their car is still dirty after a wash. I chose the Basic wash for $6. Post wash, the car was still dirty. I'm glad I didn't pay more. The only reason it gets two stars is because of the complimentary towels and functional vacuum. Blue towels are for the interior (you get 2) and black towels to clean the tires. I have to mention the employee there. Apparently his job is to stand around and stare at the customers. If it wasn't for the fact that he was wearing his work shirt I probably would've assumed he just likes hanging around the car wash.
